We are turning the page and starting this season with our new logo.  I think as our website evolves, a fresh new look brings the feeling that we are moving towards our goal of keeping things interesting, locally sourced and always with our own personal twist.

I have been asked to join the staff of one of Maine's new cooking treasures.  It is a magazine called Maine Food and Lifestyle.  Published quarterly, they focus on the unique elements that are Maine.  Stylish, informative and beautiful, it celebrates the  Maine spirit.  My new column is called Locavore's Kitchen.

Returning to Costa Rica, I delved deeper into the local cooking of this incredible country.  Never one to shy away from adventure, my experience at a Central American rodeo was funny, disquieting and  memorable all at the same time.
